Design Of Realme Smart TV 4K

In terms of looks, the latest Smart TV from Reality is quite simple to look at. It has thin borders on all the sides which adds to its minimalistic look. This Smart TV is similar to the last few offers from the brands in terms of its looks.

While the company has two models, we have on hand the smaller version, which is 43-inches. We’d recommend only considering this size if you need a TV for a smaller room. That’s because, for an average size bedroom and typical living area, the 55-inch model might be able to provide the cinema experience you’re looking for.

The back of the TV is made of plastic and has all the connectivity ports. Overall, we were quite satisfied with this TV in terms of design.

Performance Of Realme Smart TV

The device offers Ultra-HD (3840×2160 pixels) resolution and brings support for various HDR formats including HDR 10 and HDR 10. The TV is capable of detecting Dolby Vision content on its own and adjusts its specific settings to suit the content. For audio, the TV features a 24W four-speaker system with support for DTS HD, Dolby Audio, and Dolby Atmos formats.

While on paper it all sounds great, the overall feel is actually a bit bitter. This is because while the audio performance was impressive, the visual experience didn’t quite satisfy you as colors are sometimes a bit over-exposed, especially with colors like red and orange.

Realme Smart TV 4K runs on Android TV 10 OS and offers a stock Android TV launcher – which makes it easy to use. You get some pre-installed OTT apps and others can be downloaded from Google Play Store as the process is as easy as an Android smartphone.

Powering the Realme Smart TV 4K is a MediaTek quad-core processor and for connectivity, it offers three HDMI ports (one of which supports HDMI ARMC), two USB ports, Bluetooth 5, and dual-band Wi-Fi .

The minimalist look of the device is also seen in the remote as it is sleek, lightweight, compact, and functional. It has only essential and basic buttons.

Our Opinion

Reality Smart TV 4K is a very good option. You have to choose the size of the TV based on the size of the room, but with features like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, a larger size should be ideal as a small screen device is not able to utilize its full potential. However, this model is a bit expensive according to its specification table.

The two models of Reality Smart TV 4K are priced at Rs 28,999 for the 43-inch model and Rs 39,999 for the 50-inch model. Coming to the competitors, you can consider the Xiaomi Smart TV X Series (Available at Rs 34,999) or the OnePlus TV U1S (Available at Rs 37,999).
